Facial Expressions

 

Here are some more positive facial expressions:

Smile with your mouth AND eyes. People can easily detect a “fake” or uncomfortable smile by seeing that your eyes are not wrinkled even though your mouth is smiling. A genuine smile shows “crow’s-feet” wrinkles at the corners of your eyes, and your eyebrows are slightly raised.

Relax your lips. Lips that aren’t pursed or flattened tells your audience that you’re relaxed and comfortable with what you’re saying.

Make eye contact. Nothing shows you’re interested in your audience and confident in what you’re saying than making good eye contact. Let’s talk more about eye contact.
